A new report from the government has found that the British Prisoners are facing a new kind of problem, as the extremist Muslim gangs are targetting their British inmates for converting to Islam or suffer violence. The gangs that are carrying out these activities are Muslim extremists and are led by criminals who are serving jail terms for terrorism. The report also highlights how the gangs are recruiting violent inmates as foot soldiers.

The report found that any of the inmate who refused to join their gangs and also from converting to Islam were either expudiated or even attacked. The prisons in the United Kingdom have already been warned by the experts, they say that the prisons have become breeding grounds for the extremists for spreading their agenda.

It is not the first time that the Muslim extremists have tried to carry out such attacks. Previously, three men met in the prison of Belmarsh in south-east London. They were later accused of planning for a terror attack in a high security prison.

The three men called themselves as the Three Musketeers who planned to use a meat cleaver and also pipe bomb on the police as well as the military targets.

In order to understand the operations of these gangs in the prison, a report was created by the Ministry of Justice in partnership with researchers at the University of Birmingham. The report included interviews with 83 offenders and also 72 staff members. It also found that the gangs ruled in the prison by bullying, violence and intimidation.

The report not only mentioned of the grave practices carried out by the prisoners against the inmates but also that the prisoners were criminals who worked as terrorists and held senior positions in their gangs
