According to a new analysis it was found that New Zealand is a country that follows the Quranic principals most closely. This was so despite the Muslim population of New Zealand being only one percent of the total population. The country of New Zealand does not have any official religion and close to 5 million of the people in the country identify themselves as Christian.

In several areas it scored high such as the anti-corruption laws and the provisions for alleviating property. The main motive of the analysis is to find out the exact measured how the countries around the world live by the Quranic values.

During the deadly mass shooting in the month of March, in two mosques in Christchurch, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern said that the country is all one. After the shootings in the mosques, the small Pacific Island nation had turned into a center of attention for the world. During that crisis situation majority of the people in New Zealand came forward, regardless of the creed and color for mourning and helping the Muslim community in the country for its recovery.

According to the indices set by the Islamicity Foundation, one of the US based non-profit, they measured the governments of the world by the way they adhere with the Islamic principles that is set in the Quran. Some of those principles included the adherence to  interest free finances, animal rights and property rights, equality of education and many more.

These indices also measures the key areas mainly four areas including law, economy, human and political rights and international relations.
