The distant topic is once more the talk of the town. About 250 fundamentalists have signed the translated version of the Nashville Statement which is a document of American origin.

The Nashville statements state that, marriage is a covenantal, procreative and a sexual union of men and women. This statement also talks about the differences which exist between men and women and these are all ordained by the almighty and it mirrors the original creation of God’s design. These are meant for human good and for their benefit.

Sexual desires are a result of sin and it is possible to walk away from such types of sins and continue the manner that has been stated by the Lord. In the concluding statement it is mentioned that homosexuality and transgenderism can be cured and this statement has the support of more than 22,000 Americans. They have signed for the statement.

Emancipation minister Ingrid van Engelshoven said that the presence of the Nashville statement in the Dutch version shows an immature and under developed mind set and therefore this makes liberalization a dream not to be dreamt for the country.

COC, which is the group carrying campaigns dedicated particularly for the transgender and gay community, said that this statement pushes the LGBT quota back to a closed group.

Research has shown that there are no proper therapies or treatments for curing homosexuality. Even if they do exist, these treatments are very dangerous for humans in the long run.
