The name Paul Pogba is by now familiar to most of the people in the world especially the crazy footballers in the world. After showing an aggressive and destructive performance in last year’s edition of the FIFA World Cup, the popular Manchester United footballers have been unstoppable. His amazing and strong performance clearly proves what determination and hard work can achieve people in life. But what has the player have to say about his own performance?

Paul Pogba said that being a Muslim helped him to be a better person as it has helped him to find inner peace. The French footballers said that he has not always been a religious type of person. During an interview, he said that his mother practiced Islam but she never raised her three sons as Muslims.

He said that he gained interest in Islam as an adult from his friends. He said that after going through hard times he decided of committing himself to practicing the religion of Islam.

Last month the French footballer was caught performing Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca. He said that it made him realize many things in life and also made him more peaceful in life. The player explained that how talking to his Muslim friends inspired him to study the religion of Islam for the sake of his own interests.

He said that praying five times a day, which is one of the five pillars in Islam was not only meaningful to him to practice to ask for forgiveness for sins but also allowed him to thank God for all the things he was given with.

The footballer said that the religion of Islam taught deep respect for all the human beings, irrespective of the religion.
