Data has shown that women are more religious than men. However, a new analysis has shown that black men are more religious than Hispanic and white women. Using the data from the Religious Landscape Study from 2014, the Pew Research Center has reported that black women are more religious demographic with about 80% of them stating that religion is very important to them. In comparison to this about 69% of the black men have also said the same thing.
When it comes to white women, about 55% of them said that religion is important to them while 65% of the Hispanic women have stated the same. Around 53% of the Hispanic women and 43% of white men have stated that religion is very important to them.
As per the polling firm, 78% of the black men say that they believe in God with utmost certainty. In comparison to this 65% of Hispanic women and 67% of the white women have said the same thing. Hispanic and white men are equal, as 54% of them said that they believe in God with absolute certainty. 86% of the black women were most likely to believe in God with utmost certainty.
Nonetheless, black men lose out on little muster as it comes to the church attendance. Over half of black women say that they attended the services on a weekly basis, about 40% of the black men said that they attended the service on a weekly basis. In the meantime, data has shown that little more Hispanic women attend the church in a weekly basis than black men. 37% of white women have said the same.
White men have been least devout when it came to their attention with simply 30% saying the same. 65% of black men say that they pray on a regular basis while 66% of the Hispanic women saying that they pray daily against 66% of white women and 43% of white men.
