The new survey called the British Social Attitudes Survey found that Christianity faith in the country hit a record low and more than half of the people professed no faith. When it comes to Islam, the survey found that it was on the rise. The survey also found that the acceptance of gay sex had also declined for the first time in terms of rates following the Aids crisis of 1980.
The survey found that there was a dramatic decline in the number of people identifying themselves as Christians in the last 35 years. These are the figures according to the survey of 2018. This is in contrast to the similar survey carried out in 1983 when two thirds of the people identified themselves as Christians. When it came to Islam the survey found that the religion of Islam was on rise as per the statistics.
