Pope Francis to Visit UAE the Very First Time to Discuss Christian-Muslim Dialogue

Current news reports by the Vatican state that, Pope Francis will be visiting the United Arab Emirates this coming February the very first time. The purpose of this visit is to discuss peach and push forth the discussion of Christian-Muslim dialogue.

Francis during his visit will be addressing the Catholic community of foreign workers along with meeting political leaders of the UAE.

The theme of this year’s conference is peace and the logo created is a powerful one. Showcasing a dove carrying an olive branch it signifies acceptance, peace, and friendship. The ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum commented that he is ready to welcome the Pope with open arms.

According to his statement, this visit will help the nations build interfaith dialogue, strengthen the understanding of each other and talk of ways to maintain and retain peace.

With all these meetings, this year will undoubtedly be one of the busiest for the 82-year-old Pope Francis. Apart from UAE, he will be visiting Central America, Asia, East, and North Africa.
