The migrant caravan, that has started their journey from different parts of Central America, has reached the border of the United States and Mexico. The number of migrants that the small city of Tijuana has received is overwhelming. According to the reports, around 6000 migrants have arrived at Tijuana, which shares the border with the United States. Many of the migrants are hoping to gain political asylum in the United States.

It can be said that Tijuana is accustomed to the constant traffic that moves across the border. However, arrival of this large group has posed problems for the city. The city, however, is welcoming the migrants this far. Reports said that the religious groups of the city have risen to the occasion to manage and help the migrants.

One such religious group, which is known as The Salesian Refuge of Tijuana, is run by the Roman Catholic Salesian order members. It has been reported that the organization serves breakfast for almost 800 migrants and refugees of Tijuana. They have been doing this work for past 19 years. To support the migrants, the group has decided to serve three-course meals per day.

The Church of the Nazarene is another group which is providing all the medical support that the migrants need.
