A woman known as Gayle Jordan runs an interesting organization that helps people walk away from their once deeply believed religions and faiths. Jordan is the executive director in the organization Recovering from Religion. Although she had twice ran herself as a Democratic Candidate for securing a seat in the state of Tennessee, she is now also involved in this organization actively to help people who are going through such kind of crisis.

Jordan says that she understands how people going through such kind of situation feel and find it extremely difficult to deal with it. During one of her interview she also said that the aim of her group by any chance was not to deconvert any person but instead helps them to navigate their thought process, once they have lost their belief in God.

The organization also run a  24×7 online chat service for all those who have stopped believing in God and are suffering from such kind of a crisis.  Additionally, they also have a calling service where they pick up the calls of patients in case they are not satisfied with the online chat service.

The website of the organization is a pretty straight forward one with different types of empathy contents such as how to survive with oneself after doubts filled in their minds. The organization serves their patients with two kinds of support services. One of which is professional support while the other is vital peer support. If patients need human assistance the organization would also arrange for the same.
